Expansive and as far reaching as the cover implies – this 6th album from the Nordic wizard sees him drop computers for a hardware only set up that takes as much from popol vuh & manuel gottsching as his contemporaries like todd terje.

These loose and effortless compositions feel like digital waves, building, overlapping, crashing but never relenting – these are long from tracks to get lost in, not to dip in and out of. Improvised but never lacking focus or intent – ‘on a clear day…’ at it’s best feels like an extension on gottsching’s ‘e2-e4’.
