Forge & Flagon
Mixing up furious melee of English folk, in-your-face shanties, traditional ditties & their own infectious compositions.
Think Mumford & Sons & Lucy Rose crossed with Stornaway via The Dubliners / The Pogues. During the recording of the album in deepest, darkest snowdonia the band were joined by folk royalty Kathryn Tickell, foremost exponent of the Northumbrian pipes (Sting, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, The Chieftains) whilst fiddle player extraordinaire Roger Wilson also plays on the album. it will appeal to fans of traditional quality folk, classic songwriting & alternative singalongs, and rouse a mighty surge of longing for the great wide yonder.
