on triple beams
in the red
taut, abrasive yet frequently melodic, this is metronomic punk wound to breaking point, the biting fury of the dispossessed.
tyvek return with another blistering repeato-punk assault, sounding as righteously furious as ever. a few tracks venture into more positive territory than we're used to, with 'wayne county roads' & 'city of a dream' being positively anthemic. for the most part though this is tense, bleak proto-hardcore, full of spit & bile yet with tunes & hooks bursting forth from the rhythmic assault, to drag you along on adventures through bad neighbourhoods, past nothing but liquor stores & empty shopfronts.
