Limited to only 500 copies on clear vinyl an official RSD 2015 release. In 1982 UK Decay were considered vanguards of the second wave of punk bands who had moved to a more darker, yet theatrical sound known as Gothic Punk, but found themselves without a label following the demise of Fresh Records. Jaded by the corporate machinations outside of their control they were helped by Crass to release on Corpus Christi Records the critically acclaimed Rising From The Dread EP. Through the mesmerising ten minute Werewolf to the subtlety and attack of Jerusalem and Testament’s celebration of youth and hope in Thatcher Britain, the band had unwittingly created the new sound of what became known as the positive punk movement.
