one of the most inventive fusion acts of recent years, blending contemporary & traditional ethiopian styles, jazz & dub reggae.

this may have started out as a studio-based project, but dub colossus have gone on to prove that they are also a rousing live band, with originator nick page (aka dubulah) stepping back & encouraging the ethiopian musicians to dominate many of the songs on stage. with 2 successful albums now in hand (‘a town called addis’ & ‘through the looking glass’), ‘dub me tender vol 1 + 2’ features tracks taken from both these albums & given the full dub treatment. it’s a real ethio-afrodub affair - from roots to ethio - flutes & back again!
