” Landing on Kryptox, Carpet Album is their 4th record, compiling material recorded over the last years in the capitals of Romania and Czech Republic, inside a church in Hamburg and while staying with a commune in rural Denmark. Their live shows are wild happenings and their studio sessions are improvised rituals. The sound is an atmospheric and mystical fusion of synthesizers, self-built electronics, traditional instruments and a sprawling rhythm section, “reminiscent of Miles Davis at his most abstract” (Norman Records). Referring to it as a “head-hunting tapestry woven with the tonal colors of music,” the album was created by 18 artists with roots from Germany, Japan, Israel, Iran, USA, Turkey, Iraq, Denmark, Poland, Philippines, UK, Russia, Moldova, Romania, Czech Republic, Montenegro and Macedonia.
