Comfortable but not nonchalant - reflective but not indulgent - playful and joyous but classy and refined; 9 albums in - this is one hell of a legacy catalogue they are building.

“The first legit Blur album since ‘13’ because we approached it like we would have approached making a record before, with all of us in the room” - Damon Albarn

If you’d have told us at the start of 2023 we’d have a brand new whole-band blur album, we might have raised an eyebrow of disbelief. If you’d then told us that it would be a 2023 album of the year contender, containing some of their most accomplished, sublime and indelible songs to date, we may have raised both eyebrows! Yet here we are, celebrating this very thing. A triumphant reunion of one of the most exhilarating bands this country has ever
seen.

“Blur remains one of modern rock’s most fidgety bands.” - Classic Rock

There’s a lot of historic love among the Residents for the Colchester quartet, with memories of early live shows, every album purchase, favourite songs and dedicated fandom being shared amongst us in the lead up to hearing the much hyped release. We were incredibly privileged to attend an album playback in Damon’s inspiring Studio 13 (what a place!) and heard at volume, it was immediately apparent that this is a career representative body of work. You can tell from the quality of the songwriting, musicianship and production that this is a record made with all 4 friends back together. Present. Giving their all. Working as a whole.

“A masterly and subtly devastating album” - Rolling Stone

REUNITED - REINVIGORATED - RESOURCEFUL - REBELLIOUS

“Messier, rawer and more chaotic than ever. More Blur than ever. This is how to make a comeback.” - Derry
