the a-side features snaith stamping his trademark, euphoric house sound on 'ne noya' by the togolese band. he takes their raw, funky, afrobeat drums & a snippet of vocal, looping them & then layering his giddying synths & blissful soundscapes over the top in an epic & masterful reinterpretation. the b-side features 2 daphni originals, ‘yes, i know’, a bizarre take on funky house, with filtered synths & rave pianos & a simple yet effective vocal hook, while ‘jiao’ spins gamelan rhythms with noodly synths in eastern scales to the rhythm of erratic shakers & a house beat.
