country-soul inflected songs influenced by george harrison's 'all things must pass' that have a wonderfully cinematic feel.

the old before his time 21-year old recorded his sophomore at fame studios in muscle shoals, alabama (where his father used to be a session musician) & in new orleans. leblanc stills manages to appeal to the heart as well as the head with his set of contemplative songs based around the premise that, in his own words, "Even if we change on the inside we will always cast the same old shadow in the light of day". there are strains of early glen campbell throughout & at times gene clark with such comparisons reflecting the quality of leblanc's own songwriting.
