Londoner James Mathé releases a brand new four track EP hot on the heels of his well received album, Bloodlines.
Recorded with electro artist Robert D Morris (previously known as Boy 8 Bit) the EP is exemplified by the glitchy, unsettling 'Win/End' & the instrumental mood piece 'Lupo’s Theme'. The title track sees Mathé’s devastatingly emotive vocals framed with a widescreen cinematic production. The EP was in part conceived as a soundtrack to a short film written & directed by Montserrat Lombard & Sean Harris of 'Southcliffe' & 'Prometheus' fame. “Barbarossa meld blue-eyed soul & electronica to addictive effect” - Sunday Times.
