56 track anthology from one of the most essential producers of RockSteady, the style that built on ska and soon developed into reggae.

Eccles helped Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry set up his studio and was a great supporter of the Jamaican scene - the legend goes that He coined the term ‘reggae’ from the slang term ‘streggae’ which referred to a lady of easy reputation!
