bridging the gap between indie and house in a way that reminds us of early hot chip, boxed in’s second album is an addictive and highly danceable affair.
ambitious but resoundingly fun underneath it all, it’s a well-produced album of synth pop on the surface but that doesn’t stop it from having some real heart – fans of james blake's tender electronic crooning and everything everything's emotive delivery will enjoy this.
