The maestro gets deep into some zones on this one, putting his gauziest textures front-and-centre, stimulating maximum listener immersion.

‘Encores 2’ is the second in a series of EP’s following the release of the barely-digested epic ‘All Melody’ from 2018. While ‘Encores 1’ focused on an acoustic pallet of sounds with just a solo piano and harmonium, this one is entirely more cosmic – or aquatic – we can’t decide.  Either way, just awesomely lush stuff from the frahm himself, recommended if you like his nonkeen project, floating points, james holden, and rival consoles.
