With their powerful harmonies and imaginative song-writing in full force, Girlpool have crafted a record of two equal parts – through it all, there is an easy shift of styles and palettes depending on which of the pair took the lead on writing duties but always remains unstoppably ‘Girlpool’ in sound on a record that spends more of its time looking inwards than outwards than previously.
