The plot follows a series of violent murders occurring at a Catholic girls’ school in England where a young student has gone missing. It is considered a classic within the Giallo genre - an Italian term designating thrillers, mystery and horror films from Italy. Ennio Morricone’s haunting soundtrack is one of his premiere Giallo scores.
