Yes, we know that this is technically only half an album as a rather strange decision was made to release it in 2 halves, across 2 years but we can’t end 2022 without talking about this lot.

Part 1 of the long-awaited album from this talented UK / Los Angeles trio (made up of singer Jacob Lusk & producers Ari Balouzian & Ryan Hope) is a seraphic but gritty set which makes them impossible to ignore. Their undefinable sound is part soul, part funk, part gospel but there’s a rawness & honesty to the whole sound that takes it to another, more contemporary & abstract level. They made our Matt cry in the Dome during The Great Escape, which unquestionably makes them ones to watch.
