1st release by crass on their own label, originally released in 1978 featuring some of their most well-known songs.
such as ‘do they owe us a living’, ‘punk is dead’, ‘banned from the roxy’ & ‘reality asylum’, forcibly left off the first pressing after the pressing plant objected to its allegedly blasphemous content, a void that crass filled with 2 minutes of silence titled ‘the sound of free speech’. this reissue was created from the original masters & comes wrapped in the original fold-out black & white poster sleeve & for the first time this vinyl package includes a download card entitling the bearer to a free mp3 download of the album. for fans of: rudimentary peni, sex pistols & the clash.
