seasick steve is glad to be finally back on land with album number eight - a celebration of being alive, still going strong, and loving every minute of it.

What you get here is a good ol' Seasick mix of boogie, blues, rock, americana, and folk-music. He says: “I am having the best time of my life right now, and it's been one helluva ride!” – something patently obvious from listening to these songs. Yet the album is not without its reflective moments, with these interludes welcome and indicative of a man taking stock of a pretty crazy last ten years since he sensationally came to the world's attention. “There’s an intimate warmth glowing throughout the 20 tracks on these two discs as Steve audibly lives every subtle nuance he sings or plays, maybe still with some disbelief that he’s now able to headline Wembley Arena by his lonesome self” 4/5 – classic rock
