A three-track EP credited to John Smith and the Common Men. The a-side, Three Guitars Mood 2, is instantly familiar as the song that entrances Susan in Doctor Who’s first episode, An Unearthly Child. The b-sides, The Eyelash and Latin Gear, are two of the groovy tunes that can be heard playing at the Inferno club in the 1966 Doctor Who story The War Machines. These tracks were originally recorded as library music,” say Hysterion Records. “They appeared in numerous television programmes during the 1960s, but they also have a special association with Doctor Who.” This 7” EP is a numbered limited edition of 1000 copies (750 in UK)
