commemorating the tenth anniversary of the tragic and premature death of Esbjörn Svensson on 14 June 2008, this live performance at london’s Barbican Centre on 26th May 2005 showcases the unique talents of the inimitable trio.
they were the biggest jazz group in the world, with a huge influence on current groups like GoGo Penguin and Mammal Hands. In 2006, they played over 100 concerts in 24 countries and were heard by 200,000 people. this follows the trio’s previous live al concert recording ‘Live In Hamburg’, which was named Jazz Album Of The Decade 2000-2010 by The Times.
