a primal drum thumps, a fuzzy guitar & bass beat up on the same chord & a maniacal kim salmon gives a word or two of “advice”.
with a theatrical bark somewhere between nick cave, john lydon & howard devoto, australian punk mainstay kim salmon is considered to be a punk lifer in the vein of henry rollins. this new project finds him teamed up with mike stranges & they tear into a record’s worth of raw & ragged punk-rock. the rough & ragtaggle qualities of salmon’s voice & gnarled guitar constantly inject an undeniable energy into these dark but vibrant nuggets. later tunes find him dialling back the rage for some lighter-loaded bluesy-punk, a fiery blast.
