Recorded in Greensboro, North Carolina on the 1989 Green World Tour - on the second to last of the nearly 130 dates - the EP showcases the band as a tight, fiery unit that comfortably wears its politics on its sleeve. Whether playing classic cuts from their early albums, hit singles from Green, or testing out tracks that would eventually appear two years later on Out Of Time, the band seldom held back. NC Times-News summed it up: “It was a tight show from beginning to end, with R.E.M. showing that during their nine-year ride from clubs to arenas, all the band has done is refine their craft to the nth degree. They may indeed be the best rock ’n’ roll band in America as Rolling Stone magazine suggested”. Previously unreleased. Includes an original vintage sew-on patch from the 1989 tour - VERY COOL! Limited in the UK to 300 copies only.
