a celebration of the continued chemistry of co-conspirators Eugene Kelly & Frances McKee, Scottish indie pop pioneers' new album was recorded in their native Glasgow at Mogwai’s Castle Of Doom studio.

Featuring musical contributions from Michael McGaughrin (1990s), Frank Macdonald (Teenage Fanclub), Stevie Jackson (Belle & Sebastian), Graeme Smillie (Olympic Swimmers), Paul Foley (Mandrake Shepherd) & Scott Patterson (Sons & Daughters) 'V For Vaselines' was seemingly inspired by stumbling across a Ramones covers band : "I just wanted to write some really short punk rock songs, just get into people’s ear really straight away & then get out of there really quickly" explains kelly. "a 33 minute exercise in off-kilter, salacious pop" 8/10 - louder than war.
