Helen's a national treasure, and her new album is something we're honoured to put forth into the world. If you haven't heard any of Helen's solo material, she's been kicking around since the birth of post-punk with bands like The Chefs and Helen & the Horns, and is a renowned academic who's written loads on music, such as The Lost Women of Rock Music: Female Musicians of the Punk Era (as Helen Reddington), and she's also the co-director (with Gina Birch) of the excellent film, 'Stories of the She Punks'.
