We’re finding it Impossible to pin down with actual words what it is that makes Willie J Healey’s 3^rd album (the successor to our album of the week-earning 'Twin Heavy') so compellingly addictive.

But we can tell you that we have it on a loop, that it makes you smile throughout & that we get progressively more engrossed with every listen. It’s proper funky in a Sly Stone / Funkadelic kinda way, gloriously groovy with those low slung 70’s vibes, as joyous as The Bees blasting in the sunshine, with the structured hooks of ‘Midnite Vultures’-era Beck. Willie may have largely been the preserve of those in the know - but that’s all about to change!
