Warmly embracing a classic sound, this record layers laid back melody over motown-esque grooves, embellished with a tongue-in-cheek approach to lyricism; a trait that proves intrinsic to Willie J Healey (having hosted him in the shop recently - we can vouch for this) and in turn the personality of this album. Though tracks such as ‘Black Camaro’ prove a tender and sincere side is not lacking. Sitting apart from the previous record, ‘Bunny’ leads Healey down a timeless path we hope he continues to ride.
