Sabrina Teitelbaum was previously known for her pop-leaning project Baum but here, she’s reinvented herself as an alt-rock star with a healthy grunge bias.

The loud-quiet excavations that comprise her hook-filled debut as Blondshell don’t only stare her traumas in the eye - they tear them at the root and shake them, bringing precise detail to colossal feelings. These lucid statements of self make for a set to treasure.
