The Cure - War Child Charity Raffle!

To celebrate the release of The Cure’s ‘Mixes Of A Lost World’, audio fragments from the album have been pressed to vinyl acetate.

We were one of a small number of very lucky independent records shops to be nominated by the remix artists (which for us happened to be Orbital) to receive one!

The acetate contains Orbital’s ‘Endsong’ remix and snippets from the rest of the album.

And as luck would have it, Orbital were popping in to sign copies of their new reissue of the ‘Brown Album’, so we asked them to sign our acetate too!

If you want to get your hands on this extremely rare piece of The Cure & Orbital memorabilia, we’re running a charity raffle on our website. Tickets cost £5 and all the donations will go to War Child. You can purchase as many entries as you like.

You have until 12pm (midday) Monday 9th June to enter. We will then draw a winner and notify them via email by the end of that day.

It's an absolute honour to have been included in a campaign to help raise money for War Child, with one of the most important and influential acts ever, without whom, many record shops probably wouldn't have been dreamed into existence - including this one for sure.
