more piano-lead magical, self-penned compositions from a quirky lady who really deserves to have become a household name by now.

recorded over an 8 week period in los angeles, spektor wrote each of the 11 tracks on the album. she & mike elizondo fleshed out the instrumentation, adding horns & other layers, to enhance spektor’s unique sonic creativity. of working with spektor, elizondo says, “[she] is that rare artist that continues to surprise. just when you think you have her figured out, she knocks you out with something completely different. she has truly outdone herself”.
