Released: 13th May 2013

Mikal Cronin, ty segall's guitar shredder, melds ty's fried psych-assault with some sunnier pop vibes, sounding like a cross between the beach boys & ash.

his sophomore release is all about new beginnings & Cronin played all of the instruments on most songs. “It all makes total sense to me, but when I step back, it sounds kind of schizophrenic,” Cronin says. “Hopefully it all sounds enough like me to make sense.” "a great sounding album that sits nicely between the poles of "fuzz war" & "cooing balladeer." Cronin has proved with this album that, like Cobain before him, he's so much more than a longhair with a fuzz pedal. He's an excellent pop craftsman who knows how to turn the power up for maximum effect" 8.4/10.
