After her star turn on little simz’s incredible ‘selfish’ from ‘grey area’ (our #2 aoty in 2019) we finally have the long awaited full length from Cleo Sol, produced by none other than sault’s inflo.
Laid back grooves are the order of the day here with a heavy nod to the greats lauryn hill, Erykah badu & d’angelo but with a fresh twist that takes it to a new level beyond just an r&b revival.
Dan says I couldn't wait for this album to come into the shop, and what a beautiful record it is too. Cleo's voice is incredible! Bought to you from the same label as the fantastic Sault. Highly recommend and definitely one of my favourite albums of the year.
