A whole treasure chest cleaved from the Cornish language by way of the Welsh hills & Gwenno’s own sublime sense of melody.

‘Tresor’ manages the tricky feat of existing within its own intoxicating realm whilst intertwining seemingly disparate entities. The lyrics flow from the paternal Cornish tongue she acquired as a child, whilst, musically, she takes a dive into hypnotic, pastoral electronics that have been sheep-dipped in kosmische psychedelia. Having recently become a mother herself, she adds further layers to these enrapturing sounds as she reconsiders notions of her heritage & roles in the world. An extraordinary release that rewards deeper digging.
