On first listen it might sound like Parks is eschewing the big pop hooks of her debut but don’t judge this after just one spin as these earworms might take a few rotations to work their way in, but you’ll be humming them without realising for weeks after. Her musical marriage of Prince and Tame Impala works brilliantly. Lyrically she’s developed too - often vulnerable, always poetic, she’s turned the lens from her friends and surroundings in on herself and her relationship with what’s around her.
