As The Strokes entered the 2010s with 'Comedown Machine' & 'Angles', we watched & listened) with astonishment. So many indie rockers' time in the sun had already been & gone but The Strokes - the founders of the feast - proved they could still crank out anthemic, belter-laden treasures like they were just getting started. Originally released in March 2011 and featuring the first single, 'Under Cover of Darkness', 'Angles' was the band’s first new release since 2006’s 'First Impressions of Earth' and marks the ambition of that album with the immediacy of the band's earlier albums 'Is This It' and 'Room on Fire'.
