Ever climbed a steep hill on a misty day and found yourself amongst the remains of an abandoned church? The stonework run feral with creeping ivy, and nesting wildlife - if you listen carefully with keen ears when the wind drops, you'll hear the soft swells of Bibio's latest ambient outing drift in as if smoke from embers cooling nearby - it's a life-warming blend of ghostly pianos, manipulated guitars, and haunting atmospherics.

The work explores the human echoes still present in various sites around Britain; Wilkinson has visited these locations, observed their gradual decline, and responded with improvised and composed music. The record draws attention to new sites - some are intriguing, vast scars on the natural landscape, others survive only in local memories, historic clips and photographs. A few remain submerged from ordinary sights, while some exist purely as legends and stories.
