Postage Info

postage calculation

we have worked hard to come up with the cheapest & fairest way of calculating postage. it is a very tricky business but ultimately, we intend to keep our postage costs as low as is feasibly possible. however, from time to time, we may need to review & amend our costs or methods for calculation.

your postage will be automatically calculated as you add items to your basket. each item has been assigned a weight, allowing for appropriate packing materials. your basket will be weighed as you add items to it & the postage will then be calculated accordingly.

to keep postage costs as low as possible, if you have placed a large or heavy order, we may need to send it using a courier service, or it may be sent as more than 1 parcel.

*** as of july 1st 2020, shipping to the REST OF WORLD has increased. This is due to rising costs to ship post overseas****


please note that pre-order items will be treated differently to all normal stock items. all pre-orders will be charged for individually, regardless of their release date & treated as individual shipments.

signed for postage / tracking

tracking information can only be provided with orders that purchase signed for postage. if you select standard postage, tracking information will not be provided.  if you would like to have your order sent as a signed-for delivery, you will be given this option at the checkout stage & be shown the appropriate additional cost. just select the “signed for postage” option. if your parcel weighs more than 2kg & is being send outside of the uk, it will be sent via courier and tracking information will be provided. delivery notification can be obtained from royal mail on uk orders.

french customers

please note that due to a large amount of parcels going missing in your country, we will only send orders to you as signed for deliveries. the cost of this will automatically be added to your order when you checkout with a french delivery address. however,  if your parcel weighs more than 2kg, we are unfortunately unable to offer a signed for option at the moment so we won’t be able to ship to you. in this instance, please feel free to get in touch with us to see if there’s something we can do to help.

italian customers

Unfortunately, for the time being, we’ve had to suspend post to Italy. This is in response to the following communication from the Royal Mail:

“We have been advised by Poste Italiane that severe delays are still being experienced in processing postal items due to serious IT problems in Italian customs. This is still affecting all postal shipments from outside the EU. Although we are continuing to process and despatch items to Italy at the moment, due to these technical issues being experienced once they arrive, they currently face delays of at least several weeks before being processed by customs and delivered by Poste Italiane. We are in constant dialogue with Poste Italiane but they have so far been unable to give us a date when these issues will be resolved. These issues are affecting all Royal Mail international parcel services. Therefore, as of 22nd December, we are changing our advice to strongly recommend you do not post items to Italy until Poste Italiane have made substantial progress in clearing the backlog. We currently anticipate that will be early in the New Year. They have assured us that they have a plan in place, we will be monitoring it very closely, and will update further when we are comfortable that your items will be processed and delivered within normal timescales.”

Whilst we hope that this situation won’t continue for much longer, we haven’t been provided with any form of timescale as to when we can expect it to be resolved. Once we have been advised that this route is open, we will update our website to allow shipping to Italy again.
