Kate's first double album, 'Aerial', was released on 7 November 2005 and reached no.

3 in the UK album chart. As with 1985's 'Hounds Of Love', the album is split into two sections. The first disc, subtitled "A Sea Of Honey" and the second "A Sky Of Honey". UK music magazine Mojo named 'Aerial' their 3rd best album of 2005 and the album recieved a BRIT Award nomination for Best British Album in 2006. Kate was also nominated for Best British Female in the same year.
