These Immortal Souls

'I’m Never Gonna Die Again' was originally released in June 1992, after a long hiatus brought on by a crippling case of writer's block from lead vocalist and guitarist Rowland S Howard.

These Immortal Souls announced their return with the gritty lead single ‘King of Kalifornia,’ their first release on Mute, which was quickly followed up by the album. The band were joined by Anthony Thistlethwaite (The Waterboys, The Saw Doctors), who performed saxophone and slide mandolin on the record.
