This is big, voluminous and driving post-rock of the highest order! Billy Mahonie break their near 15-year recorded silence in muscular style with the sort of guitar riffs you might have heard roaring out of Headley Grange in the 70s.

Fans of the band’s ‘The Big Dig’ (including the great John Peel, for example) will find plenty here to bask in: slow building instrumentals, clangourous crescendos, weaving leads, swirling pads, and a rhythm section that could punch the heart out of an ox. Suffice to say – this is a VERY welcome return from a much-missed band.

Drummer, Howard Monk, sums it up succinctly: “It rocks pretty hard. And is a bit funky too. What’s not to like?!”
