Formed from the dancing violins of Warren Ellis, Jim White’s rampaging drums, and Mick Turner’s swirling guitars, the legends known as the Dirty Three are back in magnificent fashion, having broken their 12 year silence with a soul-stirring wallop on ‘Love Changes Everything’.

Don’t worry, despite the album title, they haven’t given in to the cash lure of Lloyd-Webber musicals, instead they’ve returned to do what they do best - world-swelling opuses composed of arresting, exploratory, heart-seeking, and weighty instrumentals that feel like mountains being wrenched up from the ground until they soar over you, piercing the sky. And on this stirring evidence, they really are the very best at doing it.
