For country music superstar Miranda Lambert, each of her seven consecutive US #1 albums has presented a chance to explore a new theme while pushing herself across varying sonic landscapes.

With the progressive x15 song album "Palomino" releasing 29th April, Miranda has crafted a record that explores the world and the people in it, seeking beauty and adventure all around. Her first solo album since 2019 ’s Grammy winning Wildcard (despite a busy interim that included releasing the GRAMMY nominated collaborative project "The Marfa Tapes" as well as Pistol Annies Christmas record, "Hell of a Holiday". New album "Palomino" is as much about the journey as the destination and the characters along the way “The making of this record has been one of the most fun and creative experiences of my career,” reflects Miranda, who holds the title of most awarded artist in ACM (Academy of Country Music) history. Alongside a slew of new tracks in which a brew of styles, sounds and wordplay are absolutely Miranda, the album features new studio versions of fan favourites Geraldene and “In His Arms” from The Marfa Tapes as well as Miranda’s unique take on Mick Jagger’s “Wandering Sprit”, and a surprise guest feature from the B 52 s on the track “Music City Queen". Having been writing songs for "Palomino" since 2020 the themes of travel and story telling pervade the album. As Miranda explains,explains,“Since we couldn’t travel at the time, we decided to go on a journey through songs I hope y’all are ready to travel with us wandering spirits and meet some cool characters with great stories".
