Gazelle Twins’ score provides the perfect accompaniment to haunting flashbacks and hallucinations, the unique musical score creates a rich atmosphere that envelopes the listener for the duration. “For Black Cab I drew largely on the film’s various settings in and around Manchester; its inky, industrial streets and the surrounding Peak District country roads at night. I wanted to create a fusion of corroded analogue electronics and synthesisers with folkloric acoustic recorders and ghostly voices. The result is a woozy, looping horror-scape, pock- marked with bursts of adrenalin and sheer panic.
